Matthew 12:31-32
There’s nothing done or said that can’t be forgiven. But if you deliberately persist in your slanders against God’s Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives. If you reject the Son of Man out of some misunderstanding, the Holy Spirit can forgive you, but when you reject the Holy Spirit, you’re sawing off the branch on which you’re sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.

Reflection questions: What does it mean to reject the Holy Spirit?  How do you know when it's the Holy Spirit or your own will... or even the voice of the Evil One?

  1. Rejecting the hs is like telling a part of yourself it doesnt exist.. emotionally it can be ignored but physically its severe. In order to be complete you need the trinity not having one of 3 meand your incomplete. You know when its the hs when it trys again. I was told the hs is always trying to break through, but ignoring it will sever the connection. The evil one will play hard in your conscience. If its right you wont regret it.
